Our Staff

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Katherine Medina - Treatment Coordinator 

Katherine has worked in the Dental field for 22 years.

Favorite Thing about Orthodontics: My favorite aspect of working in the Orthodontic field is having patient’s come into our office with their dreams of having a great smile, seeing those dream’s become a reality.

Favorite Thing about Working with Dr. Cha: I really enjoy working with Dr. Cha, he is an excellent orthodontist, and really cares about his patient’s treatment and well being. The office staff consists of upbeat, genuine, and gentle characters that are a delight to be around.

Favorite Thing about My Job: My favorite thing about my job is helping people on a daily basis with their Dental needs. Our patients are so nice; it is a pleasure to come to work here at Santa Clarita Orthodontics.

Hobbies: Hobbies include spending time with my family. I enjoy running, church activities, and taking my Minnie Dachshund’s for a walk.

 

Jose Garcia – Clinical Assistant

Jose has worked in Orthodontics since 1997.

Favorite Thing about Orthodontics: All the cool patients I get to work with.

Favorite Thing about Working with Dr. Cha: He is professional, calm and fun to work with.

Hobbies: Baseball, church and spending time with my family.

 

Marie Silva – Clinical Assistant

Marie has worked in Orthodontics since 2000.

Favorite Thing about Orthodontics: Making great smiles.

Favorite Thing about Working with Dr. Cha: It’s great to work with someone with so much enthusiasm and cares so much about making the best-looking smiles for his patients.

Hobbies: Traveling and spending time with my son.

 

Tina Agaronian – Clinical Assistant

Tina has worked in orthodontics since 2011.

Favorite thing about my job: I enjoy the opportunity to interact with patients and parents.

Favorite thing about Orthodontics: I enjoy seeing the positive effects that orthodontics has on a person’s appearance and self-esteem.

Favorite thing about working with Dr Cha: I like that he is very caring for his patients and his employees.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my daughter

 

Jackeline Rodriguez – Patient Coordinator

My Favorite thing about my Job:  It brightens my day to help and welcome patients and I love to see the smiles on their faces when they leave from our office with the beautiful smiles they've been waiting for.

Favorite thing about working with Dr. Cha: I really love working with Dr. Cha and all of my co-workers. When I'm at work i feel like I'm with a second family because everyone is always very caring and welcoming. Dr. Cha is an honorable person who genuinely cares about his patients and employees.

My Hobbies: I love Baking and spending time with family, friends, and beautiful son.

 

Jennifer Kerrigan – Clinical Assistant

Jennifer has worked in orthodontics since 2012.

Favorite thing about Orthodontics: My favorite thing is being able to see people who would never smile because they were upset with their teeth, then come in and by the time they finish braces just can’t stop smiling.

Favorite thing about working with Dr. Cha: I’ve never met such an honest dentist before and someone who really cares about his employees’ well being. I was brand new into dental when I started out and I am so grateful I had Dr. Cha teach me the ways of Orthodontics.

Favorite thing about my job: My favorite thing about my job is the family we’ve made here as coworkers and seeing how happy people become with their perfect smile.

Hobbies: Camping, exercising and spending time with my family and friends.

 

Ricardo Gonzalez – Clinical Assistant

Ricardo has worked in orthodontics since 2003.

Favorite thing about ortho: I had orthodontics as an adult by Dr. Cha, and credit my new smile for giving me confidence that changed my life. I know I am giving that same confidence to my patients.

Favorite thing about working with Dr. Cha: Dr. Cha is a perfectionist. He genuinely cares about his patients and employees.

Favorite thing about my job: I like witnessing my patients grow more self assured with their new smiles and I enjoy the new friendship I build with them by the end of their treatment.

Hobbies: spending time with my lovely wife and three daughters, working out, and playing poker.

Valencia Office
Wednesday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Canyon Country Office
Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

At Santa Clarita Orthodontics, our orthodontic team is committed to creating beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime. We enthusiastically and continuously motivate and educate our patients about quality orthodontics and dental care, while maintaining a warm, friendly and caring environment. We strive for recognition as the finest quality patient-centered orthodontic practice in our community. Welcome to our office!

Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you are subject to being charged an additional fee.

Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

Financial/Insurace Info

It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and Visa and MasterCard credit cards. We also offer low- and no-interest financing options, both through our office as well as through the Fee Plan systems of Capital One and Care Credit. Even better, we offer discounts for treatment paid in full in advance, and for multiple family members undergoing treatment at the same time. If you have any questions about financing or payment, ask us! We will thoroughly explain your choices and work hard to accommodate your needs.

Insurance
We are a premier provider for Delta Dental, and are considered in-network for Cigna, Blue Cross and MetLife PPO plans. If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
